An international singer, songwriter, and award-nominated recording artist, Robbin Kapsalis is a Blues Music Award nominee and three-time Blues Blast Music Award nominee, featured in Living Blues Magazine (#284). 

 

Born on Chicago's Southside, amid the city's legendary blues scene, Robbin delivers a commanding vocal presence that blends classic blues grit with a fresh, contemporary spirit. She has shared the stage with blues legends John Primer and Billy Branch, and opened for Roomful of Blues, Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials, Duke Robillard, Vanessa Collier, and more.

For a decade, she led DC-based soul blues band Vintage #18, performing across North America, before launching her solo career. Her musical journey includes performing at the John F. Kennedy Center New Year's Eve Celebration, and festivals throughout the U.S., UK, and Europe.

 

Her latest album and solo debut, The Blues Is In The House, earned a Blues Music Award nomination, further cementing why she's not just preserving the blues tradition — she's helping shape its future.
